Maria Mim is a professional singer. She was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Her mother is a singer and both of her parents are very much culturally inclined and they were very much involved with all  cultural activities. At the age of 4, she started learning music, mainly Bengali songs, from her first Guru – her mother. She learnt Hindustani Classical Music and Rabindra Sangeet from India. Maria also learnt Bharatnattyam and Manipuri dance from Chayanat when she was 14 years old.  She did many TV shows in Bangladesh. She wishes to expand her horizon in other genre of music in particular Hindustani Classical Music.
